My trip in Lapland ! (Mon voyage en Laponie)

Hi ! I will write this article in english, it's about my trip to Lapland (North of Finland) ;)

On Wednesday, Minttu and I didn't go to school, we took a plane to Lapland, to a city called Rovaniemi. For one week we stayed with Satu's friend and her family. (Satu is Minttu's mother )

                                                                                

The second day we wanted to go to Santa's village but the car was frozen so we went on a frozen river close to the house and we played with the family's children; It was really fun because we were alone on this river and it was beautiful !




The third day we went to Santa's village . There you can meet the "real Santa Claus" and visit his office. There is also Santa Claus' official post office  where you can write letters and send them. All around the village there are lots of shops but they are really expensive. It's a cute place to visit!

 



The fourth day I went to a small ski resort with Minttu. It was a great afternoon and there weren't many people so we enjoyed our time.

Sunday we went in a zoo in Ranua .There we saw artic animals like polar bears, reindeer, and artic foxes. In the evening we also started making an igloo, that was funny!



Monday we went skiing again in the afternoon in the same resort but for a longer time .

Tuesday was our last day, we visited a reinder  farm and we could also feed the reindeer. The reindeer were so cute and smaller than I expected.

Finally we went back to Helsinki by plane.


Lapland is a beautiful part of Finland and I loved my trip there !!
